Responsibilities: 1) working with a multidisciplinary team to develop a landscape-level assessment strategy for fish habitat and production in lakes and reservoirs; 2) developing impairment assessment methods using various statistical analyses; 3) refining an existing river fish habitat assessment to meet needs of the National Fish Habitat Action Plan; 4) writing final reports and peer-reviewed publications. Qualifications: PhD in fisheries ecology, aquatic ecology, and/or landscape ecology. Applicants must have strong background in statistical analysis and modeling using ARCGIS. Knowledge of environmental impairment assessment methods preferred. The job will involve travel. This is a one-year position with extension contingent on funding.
