Student awards

Award categories

  1. Oral Presentation on an applied research topic
    a. ARCO cash award
    b. Academic Press book award
  2. Oral Presentations in basic research
    a. Bill Phillips WILDCO cash award
  3. Oral Presentations emphasizing methodology
    a. Frigid Units cash awards
  4. Poster Presentations
    a. Hydrolab cash award
    b. Academic Press book award

Eligibility criteria:

  1. The research must have been conducted while the entrant was a graduate or undergraduate student.
  2. The research must not have been published prior to December 31, 1999.
  3. The entrant must have been enrolled during the 1999-2000 academic year.
  4. The student must be the senior author and present the paper.
  5. Oral presentations must be given during the normal, 15-minute contributed or special sessions.
  6. A student may enter and thus receive an award for only one presentation in any one year.

How to apply?

Simply select the award category you want to compete in when you submit your abstract.
